Casting for Recovery and SaraBella Fishing Collaboration
A powerful partnership supporting women with breast cancer through fly fishing
Bozeman, MT—November 1, 2018—Casting for Recovery (CfR) is a national nonprofit organization that provides fly fishing retreats for women with breast cancer of any age and in any stage of treatment or recovery at no cost. CfR is honored to announce a special collaboration with SaraBella Fishing. The goal of the partnership is to support CfR a through fly rod production, give back program.
The program utilizes a CfR promo code and will be visible on the Casting for Recovery website in the ‘Shop to Support’ section, linking to the SaraBella website for ordering. For every SaraBella fly rod ordered with the CfR code, SaraBella will donate $75 to CfR.
“The mission and the incredible people with Casting for Recovery inspire us; we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate so that together, we can make a big impact,” says SaraBella owner and founder April Archer. “As we kick off this collaboration, we celebrate the great impact of Breast Cancer Awareness month, while also remembering that although October comes to end, breast cancer does not. SaraBella Fishing is committed to supporting Casting for Recovery and breast cancer recovery beyond the month of October.”
SaraBella has several team members who have survived and continue to battle breast cancer. One of the rod-builders, David McElwain, is a male breast cancer survivor. He joined their team after his mastectomy as he was in search of part-time work. SaraBella understands the beauty and fragility of life, as well as the importance of healing through fly fishing!
“We look forward to this being a long-term partnership promoting fly fishing and helping women with breast cancer,” says Whitney Milhoan, CfR executive director.
